Many people find themselves feeling a bit mournful this time of year. As summer winds to a close, we all have to face the harsh reality: summer is almost over.
But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t appreciate it while it’s still here. The fall doesn’t officially begin until September 22, which means summer is still technically with us for a few weeks. Phrases like “back to school!” and “it’s sweater season” and “how to plan your garage sale” are nothing more than frames of mind. Summer lives, as long as you keep it alive in your heart. Or as Dylan Thomas wrote, “Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”
Here are ten activities we recommend you squeeze in before the end of summer.
